NeuroNurtured recognises the importance of maintaining appropriate insurance to protect clients, schools, organisations and professional practice.

 

Helen Cooke holds Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance appropriate for independent speech and language therapy, coaching and training services.

 

This insurance provides cover in the unlikely event that a claim is made in relation to professional advice or services provided.

 

Scope of Cover

Insurance cover includes activities such as:

• Independent speech and language therapy advice

• EHCP assessments and reports

• tribunal reports and professional evidence

• coaching and mentoring

• training and workshops

• consultation with schools and organisations

 

Insurance is maintained in line with professional expectations and regulatory standards set by the:

• Health and Care Professions Council

• Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

 

Evidence of insurance can be provided to schools, organisations or Local Authorities on request.

Policies are reviewed annually to ensure appropriate levels of cover remain in place.
